In the e-Xposition section I have published the selection of the TOP 45 photos from the year 2023.
3rd February 2024:
The international curated photoexhibition ABSTRACT consisting of 90 photos (from 27 countries) including my picture The Heart of the Setting Sun was opened in The Glasgow Gallery of Photography (271-281 High Street, Glasgow). The exhibition will be open until 29th February. The exhibited photographs can also be viewed in the online version: ABSTRACT - on-line
6th January 2024:
The new year has started well, as three of my photographs have won Honorable Mentions in the highly respected global competition Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA) 2023. I´ve added all the Tokyo award winning photos into the detailed list in the Awards section.
17th December 2023:
All my 10 photos submitted to the New York Photography Awards came back awarded: 4 of them won Silver Winner Award, the remaining 6 photos won Honorable Mentions. I´ve added all the New York award winning photos into the detailed list in the Awards section.
28th November 2023:
I have agreed with the organizers of my summer photoexhibition in the Chotěšov Monastery that I will be able to use a larger exhibition hall for it than originally agreed. According to the preliminary plans, the exhibition should start on 21 July 2024 and should last until the end of September.
19th November 2023:
In this year's edition of one of the world's largest and most respected photography competitions, the ND Awards 2023, my photographs won four Honorable Mentions in the Architecture and Nature categories. I have featured all of the award-winning photos in the ND Awards 2023 Photo Contest blog post and added them to the detailed list in the Awards section.
22nd October 2023:
I learned my photograph, The Heart of the Setting Sun, will be a part of the curated ABSTRACT exhibition at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography from February 3 to February 29, 2024.
21st September 2023:
My photo Return from a trip to the Black and White World received the Honorable Mention in one of the world's most respected photo competition International Photography Awards (IPA) 2023. You can find more information about my award-winning photos in the Awards section.
18th September 2023:
I wrote a special article on my blog pages about the extraordinary Prague exhibition of the photographer Alžběta Jungrová - "I Believe" (the blog articles are in Czech).

I have started a new page on this website called What's New? :-) On this page I will mention the main news about the content of my photoweb, about various events with a link to me as a photographer or a lover of photos, and about my future photo plans.

I removed the French version of the website, which had minimal traffic and was quite time-consuming for me to maintain. Please let me know if you would miss it.
1st September 2023:
My photograph From Josef Sudek's Window has received an honorable mention in the Minimalist Photography Awards 2023 and is now included in the list of my successful photographs in the Awards section.
22nd August 2023:
My photoseries River Variations won a bronze award in the international competition Prix de la photographie Paris (Px3) 2023. Three other individual photographs received honorable mentions in the contest. All related information can be found in the Awards section.
5th July 2023:
I have agreed to hold my next solo exhibition in the beautiful baroque complex of the Chotěšov Monastery in the Pilsen region. The exhibition should open in mid-July 2024 and last until the end of September. I will gradually update this very basic information.
